Pebble Beach in Quebec’s frozen north
They tell us Val d’Or is actually in the centre of Quebec but it felt north enough to us! Here’s Joanne Braithwaite and Jim Aquila about to get into a helicopter for a 1-hour ride north to Balmoral Resource’s gold project (www.balmoralresources.com).
waiting to fly further north into even COLDER weather!
It was cold at the Val d’Or airport – down around -25C, and that’s without the wind chill added in (and oh, it was windy!).
Frozen North
We could see a few moose down below but not much else. How they survive in that cold is a mystery to this west coaster!
Pebble Beach was up there for one of our regular clients, Business Television www.b-tv.com. So far, they’ve mostly sent us to cold climates but next month, we’re heading down to Arizona for them. Stay tuned!
