Incredibly successful stallion video

Last summer, we stopped by Lisa McBurney’s barn to check out her new Friesian stallion, Otto.  He was incredible.  So we came back with our little Sony camcorder and shot a quick video for her.  It’s pretty casual – hand held, camera mic and our handy, dandy little camcorder – but it still produced powerful results.

Lisa put it up on her website in the fall and before she’d had a chance to advertise Otto anywhere at all, she’d already had 10 mare bookings for him. This was for a completely unproven, brand new guy on the block – amazing results!

Everyone who contacted her, Lisa told me, did so to book the stallion and not to ask questions because the video answered all the questions for them.
