It was cold at the Val d’Or airport – down around -25C, and that’s without the wind chill added in (and oh, it was windy!).
Frozen North
We could see a few moose down below but not much else. How they survive in that cold is a mystery to this west coaster!
Pebble Beach was up there for one of our regular clients, Business Television www.b-tv.com. So far, they’ve mostly sent us to cold climates but next month, we’re heading down to Arizona for them. Stay tuned!
Pebble Beach blog followers, I’d like to introduce Wayne Miller. Wayne’s dad was a dentist so he grew up with the greatest of dental care but genetics still played its part and by the time Wayne found Dr Nathan Kennedy, his teeth were in dire need of serious help.
Wayne has been so impressed with Dr Kennedy that he’s sent lots of guys from work to his office. Then recently, Wayne went to him for a whole new smile.
Even more impressive is the fact that Wayne (and his wife Judy, featured in an earlier blog) were moving house that day. And they hadn’t hired movers, either. They were doing all the lifting and shifting on their own but they were – and are – so pleased with their dentist that they took time out of their day to do these testimonials, even though, as Wayne said, it couldn’t have been worse timing!

The first of five testimonial visits for the amazing Smile Solutions Dental Centre in White Rock is in, and it’s great (if we do say so ourselves…). All five of Dr Nathan Kennedy’s patients raved about him. They loved the work he did, and they loved that he did it without pain. What more could you ask for from your dentist?
Here’s a video featuring Judy Looye. Judy’s teeth were in bad shape and were also causing her pain. Dr Kennedy not only gave her a whole new set of incredibly beautiful teeth but he also did a root canal on one of her molars, and she said it didn’t hurt, not one bit. She’s had root canals done before but, as she says in the video, Dr Kennedy is a “gentle man.”
Again, I ask – what more do you need from your dentist?

Last summer, we stopped by Lisa McBurney’s barn to check out her new Friesian stallion, Otto. He was incredible. So we came back with our little Sony camcorder and shot a quick video for her. It’s pretty casual – hand held, camera mic and our handy, dandy little camcorder – but it still produced powerful results.
Lisa put it up on her website in the fall and before she’d had a chance to advertise Otto anywhere at all, she’d already had 10 mare bookings for him. This was for a completely unproven, brand new guy on the block – amazing results!
Everyone who contacted her, Lisa told me, did so to book the stallion and not to ask questions because the video answered all the questions for them.
So thanks, Lisa! And here’s wishing you a great breeding year.
Pebble Beach Productions shot five customer testimonials at Smile Solutions Dental Centre in White Rock, and we were blown away by how much these people loved their dentist! Two of them, a couple, were moving house that day – they were doing it themselves, and hadn’t hired a mover – but were so excited by how wonderful their dentist was and how beautiful their smiles are that they took time out of their moving day to come do testimonials.
Wayne showed up in a wrinkled shirt because he couldn’t find a clean one from the pile of clothes, so we found him another one at the last minute.
